We are very pleased having built the new organ for the Augustana
Lutheran Church in West St. Paul, Minnesota. This is our opus
20.
The church members voted unanimously and with great enthusiasm
for our concept.
The specification, with 39 stops on II manuals and pedal,
was worked out by Manuel Rosales of Los Angeles together with
the church's organist, Dee Ann Crossley.
The casework design for this extremely difficult corner situation
was carried out by our design architect, Graham Tristram of
Edinburgh. It was difficult because the available height was
restricted and a window had to be left free.
The improvement of the acoustics was placed in the experienced
hands of Dana Kirkegaard of Chicago, Illinois, with whom we
have already carried out a number of very successful projects.
The organ installation started November 28th 2004 and the
dedication took place November 4th 2005 with Paul Jacobs performing
the first recital.
