The Rieger "Marienorgel" in the Minster at Freiburg im Breisgau was completely refurbished by Glatter-Götz Orgelbau GmbH and above all, tonally improved. The technical work was carried out by Glatter-Götz Organbuilders and all of the tonal aspects of the project were the responsibility of Beat Grenacher of Goll Organbuilders in Lucerne. The work constituted a great challenge, as the space for the
technical parts of the organ, as well as all the pipes, were extremely limited. In the course of the work an extension of the combination system was undertaken. Furthermore, a lingual 32´stop was added - a fundamentally important stop that up till then was missing. A Glockenspiel has also been added. In order to facilitate tuning for the weekly concerts performed at the Minster and above all, for economic reasons, an "Orgamat" was installed. Tuning of any nature can be executed by the organbuilder himself, without assistance.

Organ concerts - Juni bis September 2003, at the Freiburger Münster every Tuesday at 8:15 pm.
